Reflection on the first week ( Curiosity and Creativity )

I read several articles talking about different titles regarding curiosity, creativity, the case of curiosity, technology and curiosity, psychology and curiosity. I enjoyed going over these articles and every writer has his own style talking about each title, but all of them agree on the idea of curiosity is a must in our life especially in the field of education. Once you are curious you can end up with the best choice ever to be implemented in our daily and professional life. What impresses me is the content of each article and the way of each writer talking about curiosity in his won prospective.
The video by Susan Engel ( The Hungry Mind: The Origins of Curiosity ). I strongly believe that this title attracts everybody to read and learn a new idea on curiosity. This video gives me a big chance and motive to keep on teaching and developing my students with enthusiasm. The lady was telling the whole world and all the educators, teachers and students that we should all be creative and curiosity in our life.
I picture ever article and I try to relate the ideas in each article to any daily life and daily working experience. Every minute I live with books, students, coworkers and educators, I remember the barriers I face and the suggested solutions either by me or by other people surrounding me then the idea of curiosity come up!
Before this course I used curiosity but I didn’t use the same word. I use the word questioning and application. I use the words; before and after the teaching periods. I ask a lot of questions before and after class. I love to use these techniques. This is the real meaning of curiosity and creativity.
I do learn a lot from the participant in the first week in this course. They posted great ideas regarding curiosity and creativity especially when they are related to creativity with the children and student in the early stage.
I am also fascinated with some question that some participant raised in the online discussion and on the Canvas discussion. I like the idea of sharing thoughts and the continuous positive discussion with each other. By this technique we apply curiosity and creativity during our first week effectively. We meet hungry minds and hungry teachers. I think teachers should feel hungry every time to fuel their mind every second with the best and suitable resources and materials that help the students.
